In this session, we'll warm up and go through drills (and playtime) for moving into a scorpion handstand shape.
A skill like this can take many weeks or months to achieve, so mastery isn't what we're aiming for in this session.
Rather, you'll get a chance to explore a range of drills for:
spine and hip flexor mobility for deeper, more confident backbends
shoulder stability
movement into and out of scorpion
falling confidently from scorpion
which you can take with you to keep practising.
Even if inverted backhanding isn't your goal, building the proprioception from these drills into your handstand will be beneficial.
