Hi Adell

Thank you so much for the incredible content here and your beautiful, playful and honest presence.

I have a question hypermobility. I am hypermobile myself and having struggled with some health issues lately (including IBS, chest tightness and breathing dyfunction following covid and due to wrong signalling from brain) I have been told that hypermobile people are more prone to develop gastrointenstinal issues, anxiety and from more recent studies, long covid.ย

Have you encountered any of the above yourself or in your research? And if so, what ways have worked for you in terms of bringing balance into the body and mind (nutrition, exercise, mindset)? I have been told by my performance physiotherapist that the reason why hypermobile people are more prone to the above is not only due to their flexibility (also in the gut) but because of their unconscious need to protect themselves from injuries, feeling comfortable and safe through their hypermobile way of being. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.ย

Thank you
