dedicated to being a good human on and off my mat

Still wow! The revolved half moon- chair sequence is still the killer for me. Good brain mapping and an opportunity to take pleasure in falling and learning. Added light ankle weights this time 🔥🔥🔥 and so good! ✨❤️✨

Ok….i feel like the tightness in my psoas ans hips is preventing me from lifting my knee in the toe stands. Everything in my brain says I have the balance, and when my leg is in front of me, I can lift it (so hips in flexion?) but with my leg extended behind me- I’m just working on envisioning the lift. Ideas? ✨❤️✨

That was the hardest fun I’ve had all day! Laughing out loud at the wobbles and saying “good job brain, I’m safe!” 🤣🤣🤣loved this- I’m going to have to do this again to see how my balance is at a different time of day. Always curious….✨❤️✨

This was really the MOST fun! Thank you for this ✨❤️✨

Love that this is what’s on the schedule for birthday morning flow! It’s sunny after several days of rain, I’m outside on my mat, there’s coffee and a perfect flow- joy is abundant ✨❤️✨

Yessss! Joy in the face of absurdity and tragedy and oppression is a rebellion in and of itself! I choose joy! ✨❤️✨

I LOVE the standing balance challenge in this flow!!!! It’s always funny-surprising to me that no matter how much I work, one side is always so different from the other. I had to pause the flow and stand with my knee lifted to lean my head back and look up several more times until I felt like I had effectively mapped all the wiggly places. Love love! ✨❤️✨

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done this already this month! I’ve even added it as a movement snack when I have an empty classroom for a few minutes between the end of the day and afternoon meetings. This and the calf raises….2-4 minutes and I feel like if I don’t have time for anything else at least I’ve done this. Phew…..real good…..✨❤️✨

Holy hamstrings! Love that burn🔥✨❤️✨

That was hard! Compression is not my forte, and I found myself really having to internally work through these movements. Coming back again and again to my breath and just using “just trying is enough” as my mantra. That was good-hard work!✨❤️✨
