"This is a great class, I like the metaphor of papa bear’s porridge. I do need to push myself beyond what feels safe so I can begin to feel strong. Can’t wait to do cartwheels at the beach next summer hah"

"I am terrified of falling! It is one of my biggest fears and the one that I wish to overcome the most because it has been a hugely limiting factor in nearly all endeavours. Even a benign stumble induces the most horrific scenarios in my imagination. But I love moving and want to do all sorts of fun and funky things with my body so… time to dust that fear away once and for all. Your meditation and visualisation got me giggling and feeling safe. And had a lot of fun ā€œsafeā€ falling. Like…I feel this personally! And eternally grateful to you for creating it! Freeedooom in falling!!! So good! 😊 wohoo šŸ™Œ"

"I absolutely love love love this! Falling is ACTUALLY a skill!!!!! I used to be so afraid to try inversions without a wall to feel safe but I’ve been practicing with you long enough to know that my brain is just doing it’s job to keep me safe, that by falling with a good mindset and awareness of what I’m actually afraid of is making new mapping connections, and that by stimulating my vestibular system I’m more likely to find some balances and fall safely. Best best falling class! Everyone who is afraid of leaving the beloved wall needs to come here and hang out a few times."

"Hi :) I am also a bit late for this March topic. But I like how you talk about experimenting different thoughts. It reminds me my work, I work as an architect and somehow its my job to allow myself dream about different scenarios every day. I love it. Of course not every time its the best solution but I like to set the limits in this way. To think about my yoga practise in this way, its completely new for me and I am looking forward to trying it. So thnx!"

"Hi! I’m really looking forward to being more mindful of when I’m experimenting and when not. How you described that you sometimes intuitively did that but then became conscious about it really resonates with me. This will be an interesting month!"

"I just love that vlog- thanks so much for diving into that topic ā¤ļø"

"Hello ! I love this theme and your energy :) So ready to experiment !"

"Thank you for reminding me to experiment !!"

"I'm a little late to jump into March, but funny that it's experimentation. I have been working on quantitative and qualitative educational research for my graduate project and just being in that mindset has been revolutionary in my brain. I find myself looking at my habits, my choices, my loops, my preferences and so many other things from an experimental researcher-y perspective. Love this! As always, the theme falls beautifully into place for me. Love, love, love!"

"Oh, wow, thank you for this insight! I’m not a traditional yoga teacher and I’ve been thinking the same…closing my business and no longer teaching😭 Your approach is full of wisdom! I will give it a try, write it down and read it everyday to get out of this negative loop. it lights me up adding functional movement, calisthenics, animal flow, parkour and circus techniques to my yoga classes."

"I don’t mind if you share it! Thank you!"

"already an experiment for me to try standing split. Its one of the most oncomfortble poses to my body, so let;s experiment!"

"Lovely Adell, this is my first comment šŸ˜‰. I am a recent student of yours - which is an experiment in itself. šŸ˜‰ Thanks šŸ™šŸ¼. Hope to meet you one day in person. Namaste, Gabrielle"

"Hi Adell, Thanks for this! I embrace your approach and teaching style, it’s so wonderful and inspiring. Again…..after 13yrs of teaching, I’m struggling that I’m not a ā€˜good enough’ yoga teacher, even though I have received nice feedback. The reoccurring thought - along with my friends and family is that I’m still struggling financially therefore, it’s clear this ā€˜yoga teacher’ thing is not working. However, I can’t imagine doing anything else. I work on my self-talk/language, yet the financial stress compounds. So thank you for adding your personal struggle bus ā¤ļø"

"I just dived with sharks yesterday!!! It was awesome! Love your classes to bits, can’t wait to all this month has to offer!"

"I'm new here but already love everything the approach , the attitud. This month I will go for handstand!"

I am now 2 years postpartum… I started endurance running in addition to my yoga practice, which is something I never would have done in the past. After becoming curious about your ā€œbrain hacksā€ on Instagram, I have started experimenting with my yoga practice as well. I appreciate the ā€œclassical messā€ I have learned from Iyengar, but it is just a way of moving, not the ā€œright wayā€ of moving. Your creative flows have been so helpful for me during all the changes and unknowns of new motherhood."

"Hi Adell! Thank you for this theme- experimentation is something I need in my life and movement practice. When I first started practicing yoga, I was studying with an eclectic teacher with experience in a variety of styles. I then switched to studying with an Iyengar yoga teacher. When I first started learning the Iyengar style, I felt like I was finally learning ā€œthe right wayā€ to do asanas. Initially, I saw a huge change in my practice and felt like I had found all the answers. When I became pregnant in 2020, I yoga felt torturous at times. I was shocked, because I have always been flexible and strong… but I was trying to keep my yoga practice the same even though everything in my body was changing. I felt guilty, because I started avoiding my daily practice. I know now that I was reluctant to practice because of the headaches and pain I was experiencing… but I didn’t know how to safely experiment at this time...

"Hello beautiful Adell! Doing erasmus in Portugal since February and I am experimenting with trying to find a balance between my old good habits and my new ones. Your classes are one of the hobbies I am proud to not have given up (although I have change the way I practice, since it’s not every day in the morning) and you have helped me a lot in achieving that! Thank you šŸ˜ŠāœØā£ļø"

"Hey hey. Cool theme this month! Excited about it."

"In the spirit of Experimentation I do a 15 minute movement routine every morning when I wake up, and each week I try and swap out one of the movements for something new I haven’t tried as much before, or do ā€œimprov movementā€ where I’ll move around my mat in novel ways. Been fun, and I find my body responds well to introducing novel movements, so excited for this month!"

"Hi! Trying something new here!"

"This is exactly what I needed for the first of march, I am working on changing bad habits, making more of a morning routine. I can experiment all month with what works and doesn’t work! You do incredible work!"

"Hiiiiii Adell... new member here and really enjoying these last couple of days working through some videos on the app :) I'm trying to get myself back into better habits after getting off track for some time. I absolutely love the vibes here and it's been something I've looked forward to each day! Also, love your sweater! šŸ’™"

"You know what? Good. I did it without expectations, just to do it. Now I’m happy you asked how it was. (Oh and the blue heart is so nice, it’s the color that represents my hometown!)"
