Some (more) lovely comments on this video from our previous website:

"When you talked about how it's not physically possible not to do harm, it also came to mind that sometimes it's also not even morally or ethically possible. You know, how you can't be nice to everyone, because being nice to some is inherently cruel to others. If you're being merciful towards the cruel, you end up being cruel towards the merciful and all that. I guess it's a big philosophical debate that's beyond our scope but it came to mind. What no harm could mean here, and what I think it means for me personally right now, is choosing love. I know, how corny. Not even love, but choosing loving, actively loving and make decisions and behave from that standpoint. Not doing any harm of negligence of not showing up on love that is there. It also speaks to not avoiding doing the hard things (because this mindset is really hard to act on :D) It stems from a very personal perspective, but maybe it resonates with someone."

Some lovely comments on this video from our previous website:

"“….moving compassionately into the difficult things” I love that so much and so often need that reminder. Ahimsa to me has always meant to try to balance the harm that is caused by being a human in a capitalist society by being as kind as possible, by helping where I can, and by doing as much good as I can. Whether that’s tending a garden and growing our own food, or helping a stranger, or moving a turtle out of the road, being an advocate for those who cannot always advocate for themselves or just offering a kind word to someone who needs it…to me it means doing more good than harm. And that’s what I aspire to. So looking forward to being able to dive back into my practice with you- by moving with compassion for my healing body. Big love for the best month yet! ✨❤️✨"

"This is always one of my favorites of the yamas. So incredibly deep in personal truthfulness and also so broad as it applies to interpersonal and socio-cultural relationships. And bravo for shoulder stands 👏🏼✨❤️✨"

"You’re the best Adell, I learn so much from you!!"

"love this as always so much sense. Choosing joy 😊"

"grumpy day fighting against faffing people, I decided to go for your class, ended up doing mine because just the idea lf your class gave me enough joy to do my own and find my dancing moves but keeping your vlog for my savasana and that was just perfect. ready to skip fighting for loving and my grumpy face for joy and smile. love your vlog, classes, spirit, you helped me today, like massively, to reconnect with my inner joy"

Some lovely comments on this video from our previous website:

"I was really admiring your video set up and clarity of speech and thinking what a skill it is to be speak to the camera without pause and then the bloopers helped me see some of the challenges you had to overcome for that 😄"

"This is so important- especially right now. With the changes happening in the US around womens rights, environmental policy changes and the ongoing war in Ukraine among so many other hard things (not to mention day to day hard things) it can be hard to remember to be in a place of joy. But it’s also necessary. We aren’t meant to be in a constant state of stress or trauma response, so finding joy & creating balance is crucial to being able to continue to do all the things and be of service. I’m so looking forward to dancing and being joyful along with you all month! ✨❤️✨"

"happy vegetables! I love it. I loved your metaphors. Really perfect your message!"

"Yes… I always look for the gentle flow, Calming theme or stretching class from MWA. Hahaha! But but but although I start with the beginner\ class as easy class or so yet half of the time actually ended with awesome energy and spending extra time practicing hardcore balancing\ inversion stuff. 😆"

"Thank you"

"Happy New Year!! Adell, what kind of resistance bands are needed for the 2 classes? I only have small loop ones, do I need to invest in either the longer ones or the ones that aren't loops (if that makes sense) Xx"

"Happy New Year Joanna!! Hmm yes I think they’re worth the investment. The ones I use for these flows are the longer ones (as well as a short one like you’ve got). One about 1/2 cm thickness and one 1cm in thickness are what I used. The ones I use are loops, but…I’m just thinking….yeah…I think you’ll be fine with the non-loop ones too!"
