Frequently Asked Questions

What level do I need to be at to join? Do I need to complete 1.0 before I can do 2.0?

Prerequisites for all programmes:

  • You don’t need a solid handstand yet — just a willingness to learn

  • No injuries that prevent weight-bearing on hands

  • A little curiosity

This course will benefit total beginners to anyone looking to hold their existing handstand for longer, with a straighter line, with more ease and confidence. 


1.0 vs 2.0:


2.0 isn’t “level 2.” It’s more like another route up the same mountain. Same overall level — just exploring different skills and themes. You absolutely don’t need to have done the first one to join.

What if I can't make the live calls?

Included in this course is access not just to the live classes, but unlimited, on demand access to the recordings for one year. 

What equipment will I need?

I’ve kept props minimal because I hate unnecessary buying with a passion. Borrow if you can.


Here’s the list:

One dumbbells, about 4–5kg / 10lbs

(Something you can hold with two hands and lift overhead. A big water bottle also works.)

Two yoga blocks

One drill will require 3-4 but you can use a stack of sturdy books if you don't want to buy more blocks for one single drill.

 One long resistance band of medium thickness. Otherwise a pair of leggings with the ankles tied together can work! 

• A foam roller; if you don't have one, a yoga block will do but it's not going to be quite as good. 

 A sturdy chair or table that's about the height of your hips or a little lower. You can also stack some heavy books onto a shorter table -- please don't go buy furniture for this! (Unless you needed an excuse 😉)

• A wall you can kick up to and a chair or sturdy table to help you if need a boost

Optional: a yoga mat



One big recommendation: try to watch on a laptop or computer, and use your phone to record yourself. Watching your own movement back is incredibly helpful—and you can use those clips to ask for feedback later.

What's your refund policy?

If something comes up that interrupts your ability to join the course, full refunds are available prior to the course beginning.  From 7th January 2026 onwards, no refunds will be available.  If you require a refund, please write to me (hit reply to any confirmation email you receive after signing up) 

What's the difference between Move with Adell and Handstand Club?

There are two fundamental differences:

1) Move With Adell is a membership, which you can subscribe to monthly or annually, and cancel anytime. Handstand club is a one-off payment for a bundle of content you'll have access to for one year. 


2) Move with Adell is a library of brain-based yoga, workouts, meditations, and more. It covers almost all of your movement needs, and has a large array of educational videos. 

Handstand club is a 6-week programme designed specifically for a more stable handstand.
