Honestly I think YouTube videos put up unlisted and then embedded into your website could work --- then you can easily make a few of the videos public too which you could use to reach potential new students!"

"Thank you! Yes I thought so, that its really costing a lot of money! I am planning on an app for climbers, but more like a “remote coach” style, and I know i can charge more for that… I even have already (a few) clients. For now we are doing it via Youtube which is not ideal of course…. There is teachable and truecoach… maybe I go with one of these.. but it’s not exactly what I am looking for. Thank you so much again for all your advice! Have a great day!"

"I personally think it's worth starting with what you can afford to make sure you're up for it and it all works out the way you want before you make a huge investment. Then if after 6 months or a year you feel like you want to step it up, you can do that and maybe even hire a marketing team to help you re-launch it so you know you'll be reaching loads of potential new clients too!...

For me when I first launched my app, I was charging $99/year (I've put the price up now I have a lot more content) but at that price I needed 150 people signed up for that year in order to break even after the fees Vimeo charges. If those numbers don't sound doable to you, I'd recommend looking into other platforms that are more of a "marketplace" style where you'd have your own site and people would subscribe to you, but through you they could find other instructors, and vice versa -- so you could potentially be found through the main site of the provider. A good example of this is Playbook. Hope that helps!"

"Dear Adell, thank you so much for this workshop! It really summaries what you learned throughout the years and it brings so much value to me! One question, now that you have MVA via Vimeo, what do you pay for this platform? would you still choose vimeo over any other?"

"Glad it was useful!! I pay several thousand $$ to Vimeo to host and manage the content. There's no cheap way to have your own app! If I were to start all over now, I would probably go with a company called Uscreen (they're the same price-wise, or maybe even a little more expensive) but they have built their platforms more in the style of what fitness instructors use; whereas Vimeo has recently moved more towards favouring their clients who are big production companies and so my platform looks more like Netflix than...I dunno...a fitness platform. I've had this conversation with MANY yoga teachers and so I'll leave here what I've told them:...

"THANK YOU, adell! that was brilliant, well-organized, and i'm just feeling loads of appreciation for you, for sharing your knowledge and love! xoxo"

"Thanks Adell for these amazing tips, for your passion about yoga and for being so thorough when guiding on all of the steps to put together a good online platform! You're amazing girl!"

"Thank you Adell for putting this together and sharing. But I am confused as to when you use your webcam and when you use your iPhone and why you did not use your webcam for this presentation when you are live and recording."

"Sorry that wasn't clear! I use my iPhone for pre-recording videos that I'll edit and put up later. But the webcam is for live classes and workshops :-)"

"So you were using a webcam with OBS to film and record thiis workshop/presentation about teaching online?"

"Yes :-)"

"this is an interesting and fun way to get approach to the pain. I love it. It is important to stop the label and stereotypes about pain, to be more conscious about it in our bodies and so eventually we will become more gentle with our own process.."

"a few days late to the vlog but Adell, you could ramble all day and i would never complain! I'm so into this theme. I love your approach to discussing food, fuel, all of it. I have tried being vegan and it left me anxious and hungry... tried intermittent fasting but dove into 16/8 way to fast ... these days I'm doing 12/12 and then sometimes accidentally creeping into 14 and I really like that it's happening naturally. Or intuitively, I should say! And realllly excited about this months pose and all the thigh action. I have this annoying thing where I keep accidentally pulling my inner thigh (groin? I hate that word...bleh.) I'll be curious to observe how my legs fell at the end of the month."

"loved this + i really loved how you said to remind ourselves how our bodies are from nature + how nature is slower paced compared to modern life. thank you for sharing your thoughts, insight + energy xo"

"Serendipitous theme for this month…my partner and I just began intermittent fasting this last week! I did it pretty naturally 2 years ago and feel that I was in a truly balanced and healthy state then, I’m excited to try it again and am hoping that it suits this chapter for me."

"love this! yall should check out a book called "Eating in the Light of the Moon", all about intuitive Eating and how we became disconnected from that way of living so long ago"

"It’s a dangerous subject this one as people lately (including me) have usually very strong ideas related to food and diet ! I’m going to listen to the workshop with an open mind but I will probably focus on the flows this month"
