In honour of MWA turning one year sassier (and all of us being gloriously ageless) let’s celebrate by doing something youthful: cartwheels.

Because nothing 🖕flips the bird to aging 🖕 quite like kicking your feet over your head and giggling like a 4-year-old.

Also? It’s the perfect way to laugh in the face of falling — literally!

Let’s spark that inner child and get upside down!

These are workshops and yoga classes with cartwheel drills mixed in.

Download the PDF for explanations on the drills you'll work on in each class!

Follow along the plan, or go your own way!

All that matters is you enjoy yourself, listen to your body, and take the joy you create to those around you 🫶

It’s nice to feel *validated* when you’re a weirdo who does things so outside of the mainstream methods.

I’ll be honest, sometimes I do struggle, knowing that my classes are so technical and out of the ordinary!

Have a listen to this podcast if you like, and you’ll hear lots of techniques that sound familiar to those of us here on Move with Adell!

Remember, even if you’re not hypermobile, these things can be helpful because hypermobile people are like “the canary in the coal mine” .

Here’s the link to the podcast episode on Apple Podcasts.

We’re starting our hollowback work tomorrow with this new gentle flow!

It starts somewhat technical, to ensure your shoulders feel great, then we get flowy to open your spine!

I once heard a quote that hit me hard (in the best possible way) and I had to share:

“Worry is just a pattern that says if I identify everything that can go wrong, I can keep myself safe”

Just now I was in the gym and full of worry. When I remembered this quote, it helped me release that worry.

No joke—I immediately felt stronger on my next set! I had to add extra weight to the bar. Because I’d let go of the mental weight I was carrying.
